Shaping confident learners and future leaders

Al Waha International School is a private, licensed day school, serving from KG 1 to Grade 12. The school follows a curriculum that is based on the guidelines provided by the National Curriculum of England and Wales. In the senior section, students in Grades 9 & 10 are trained for Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations, while those in Grades 11 & 12 are trained for the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (‘A’ Level) examinations. For the purpose of these examinations, Al Waha is an attached centre of the British Council, Jeddah.

Through its years of affiliation with the British Council, Al Waha has been recognised as a school that has been in the forefront of educational improvement and innovation through adoption of fresh and innovative Cambridge University courses and pilot programmes, participation in Cambridge-administered teacher-training modules and regular attendance by management members at the summer Cambridge International Education Conferences (CIEC) hosted in Cambridge University, UK.

Al Waha has been accredited for the first time by the US-based North Central Association, Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA/CASI), the accreditation division of AdvancED, now renamed as COGNIA in successive five-year cycles.
